The ways of this world are mysterious. Most people think the ways of the spiritual world are mysterious but that is just because of the way you are viewing them. If you look at the world as you know it from a spiritual perspective it will make so much more sense.
Most people have a sense that there is something going on in the world that is beyond the world itself. Most people call this something. It may be a psychic realm to them or it may be gods in the heavens or it may even be a god within themselves. Regardless of what they identify with, they are picking up on the fact that there is a lot more going on than can be seen simply by our natural eyes.
But, when we open our eyes up to the mystery, taking a risk, trusting Me and My power and authority, recognizing I am in your midst and I am here to protect you, it doesn’t feel nearly as scary or mysterious. There are amazing guides in the natural world that have a deeper understanding of the supernatural. Many can look strange to people (and many are strange to people) and yet, often, what they speak of and see and know is true. I also provide some people who are very straightforward and natural in their walk on this earth and they blend into the world most of the time even though they are seeing in the spiritual at most times.
Choose which one you want to explore with or look through the bible and look for the really strange things that happen and start seeing them from the perspective of the people who were there. They are really strange.
For instance, Jacob put sticks in front of the livestock to get them to breed a certain color / pattern. Does that sound normal? Does it sound scientific? Does it point to something else possibly existing.
Elisha threw flour into a soup and removed the poison. Hmmm, that is not a normal medical recommendation for poison removal.
Elisha also threw a stick into the water and made an axe head float. Does that defy scientific principles? Maybe something more is going on in that moment.
The Christian church seems to think that I am so normal and I am predictable, and yet that is not the case. I am not normal or predictable. My thoughts are not your thoughts and My ways are not your ways. This indicates I am not “normal” to you. I am different. I am certainly not predictable. Look at all the bible stories.
But, I am good. You can trust this goodness and you can be on the side of goodness that leads to life.
Come to Me. You are weary and I want to give you rest. You need to take My yoke upon you and let go of the ways you have been thinking and hold on to the ways I think, even if they seem strange or not normal. Don’t expect the normal. Expect something much more interesting!
