The Story and the Method
“Ask Me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come”. Jeremiah 33:3 (NLT)
The name iMethod and its URL www.iMethod.life aren’t something I came up with in a branding exercise. They were generously given by God—and each part tells a story about how He works:
Letter “i”:
It started as i³ where the “cubed” stands for 1. intermittent 2. intercessory 3. intervention. In practice, it means we pause intermittently—either at natural breaks in conversation or at God’s prompting—to pray, to intercede, and to invite His divine ideas and intervention. It’s a purposeful way of asking Him to break into our work with His wisdom, whether for the smallest detail or the largest decision.
But the “cubed” turned into “the third power” showing how it means even more. The power isn’t just multiplied—it’s rooted in the Trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit working together to reveal His will. It’s not about formulas or clever strategies. It’s about the exponential power of God when He steps into our questions and challenges.
“Method”:
The power of the method became clear as I experimented with my husband on a long car ride. After months of wrestling with a career decision, he had no clarity. Within ten minutes of using the method in our conversation, God gave him the peace and direction he needed to move forward confidently and, because we invited Him into the outcome, it fell into place the way He said it would.
When we use this method, there is a rhythm to the conversation that invites His wisdom and opens space for Him to speak—even in surprising ways. It is a powerful way to ask specific questions, pause to listen, follow up when we don’t fully understand, and then pray into what He reveals so we simultaneously hear His guidance and invite Him to walk it out with us.
The most powerful aspect of the work though is following the leading of the Holy Spirit who sometimes takes us away from this method and down a different path. Then we let go of the method and simply follow His lead.
“.life”
When God led me to launch this work, He invited me to use .life rather than .com, then shared the importance of the word life.
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10 (ESV)
which applies to every aspect of our life, and:
“I tell you the truth, those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.” John 5:24 (NLT)
Of course, this verse points to something much bigger than simply listening to Him in our daily life. It points to the incredibly important truth about believing what Jesus told us – He is the Son of God and our savior – and this is essential to believe to find eternal life. Yet, God also revealed that this truth applies like a fractal—no matter how closely you zoom in, the pattern holds. If a business feels “dead,” if a process is broken, if a relationship has stalled, the answer is the same: seeking Jesus brings life.
This is why IMethod exists: to support your connection with the One who helps you move beyond the seemingly impossible aspects of your life and work and into the abundant life He promises.
While keeping the larger eternal picture in view, because God purposefully entrusted you to shepherd His children, we experience the fullness of His wisdom, and guidance during the day-to-day meeting, the strategy, the client conversation, the hire, the budget, the vision—each one infused with His direction and His life.
A Unique Calling
God speaks to everyone. But sometimes, He designates people to dedicate their lives and work to hear Him not only for themselves, but also alongside others. That’s part of my call. I come alongside leaders—not to replace what they hear, but to confirm, clarify, and expand it. Together, we discern what He is saying and put it into practice.
The Essence
It all comes together as iMethod.life…a Spirit-given method, grounded in Scripture and tested in real business practice, designed to help leaders hear God clearly, gain direction, and walk in His life-giving wisdom.
