How can I really hear you Lord?
Let go of everything that is not Me.
Just let go of it and trust Me completely that I know you better than you know yourself.
Let go of all outcomes and plans and goals.
Let My outcomes and goals come to you, glorifying Me.
When you are the front of a group of people and they ask how you became successful, seeking answers on how to get there themselves
Can you have only 1 answer?
Can you share that there was 1 night, I was listening to God and He said to me, “Let go of everything that is not Me, trust Me so completely that you are no longer concerned about outcomes, preferences, or plans because you know that My outcomes, preferences and plans are so much better than you could ever ask or imagine?”
Can you say that this was the night you were finally able to do this? He prepared you for years and years for this very conversation but that was the night you were ready for it.
If you are like me…
This is when I discovered how to be busy and yet in complete rest because I know He has plans for me
so I go through the day doing what is before me
and that He has it all worked out, so I rest in His arms completely.
Can you say to these people…
The plans He has for your life are so much better than you could ever imagine so…
imagine the biggest you can imagine… then let go of it completely because He has something infinitely better than that available to you.
I know I am supposed to tell you to put together 2, 5 and 10 year goals and then follow through on reaching them
but, so far, I have never found someone who did something remarkable by following this formula
Maybe there is someone…but I haven’t found them.
What I find is people who really go for their dreams and goals and get so discouraged that they finally let go and that is when something changes and shifts…because that is when God is able to step in and give them more than they could imagine. If it had happened on your own time or in your own way it would have been limited by who you are and what you wanted but by letting go it happened God’s way, which is even better than yours.
Can you say, there was that one day I was finally able to let go completely of the need for certain outcomes and put my focus on God, Jesus, Holy Spirit completely
and that is EXACTLY how I got here today?
so my challenge today is to keep my eyes on God, Jesus and Holy Spirit so I will not be concerned about what happens next.
John 16:29 “Jesus answered them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.’”
He has it all under control and He loves us so tremendously that we can know what He has for us is better than anything we could ask.
When we look for proof of this concept we can look at the pictures from the James Webb telescope.
The images we see are so much better than we could have imagined.
This is the proof we have….along with all the lives of people like Einstein himself…who truly allowed God’s imagination to drive his life.
Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
