One day God woke me up very early and shared with me that He wanted to send out 6 foundational messages to business leaders…one per day for 6 days. Here is the 6th of 6.
“The Power of My Involvement”
My Power shows through Your Organizations when You are Obedient!
When you read Leviticus 26 you see the direct impact of trusting Me with your time. If you feel so busy that you have to work 7 days a week, there are 2 possibilities:
- You have an opportunity to trust Me more with your time, energy, and work (seek My help and guidance more to accomplish day to day tasks).
- You are spreading your “rest” over all 7 days rather than concentrating it on a Sabbath day.
When you know you are going to have a sabbath rest, it makes it easier to complete the work you need to do in 6 days. Also, when you know that you can trust Me to bless you even more when you receive My blessing of a sabbath, then it is easier to find a heightened steady pace that involves Me in the work.
I know how hard it is to keep up these days. I know all the opportunities available and I know the way the world tells you that you need to be involved in everything in order to have value but please remember, I am your value. I am your God and I created you to be like Me. I love you, I sent My Son to redeem you and I will never let you go. When you wonder what you are worth, as you work yourself to the bone because you are trying to prove something to yourself or others, know this… I created you and you have value simply because you are My creation.
My desire and plan is to bless leaders and organizational owners so incredibly by My presence and My guidance. Are you open to this? Would you like this? What is My wisdom and guidance worth to you? Is it worth setting aside a day each week simply to “prove” that you believe I am the one who is blessing you and it is not your strength and might that is doing this thing….but Mine?
My Spirit will fill you with the energy and motivation you need.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6
Your biggest obstacles and problems are like mountains that I will cause to become plains.
“Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain.” Zechariah 4:7
Don’t take your hands off, but instead, build the foundation of your organization with Me. I do the work through you, simply open yourself up to My guidance, have fun with it, let Me walk with you each day in the garden. I Am in the marketplace! I Am in you!
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.” Zechariah 4:9
Think big! Think God sized thoughts and have God sized desires!
“For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.” Zechariah 4:10
Yes, I am everywhere, my eyes see all that happens. Work for My glory and let Me bless you with something more glorious than you can imagine.
“These seven are the eyes of the Lord, which range through the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:10
You have asked for a revival. I am giving you one and it will be more glorious than you ever asked or imagined. Your part is to trust Me in your work and in your lives. Trust what I have said in Psalm 127:1-5!
When I build the house your labor is not in vain. When I watch over your city or your business your watchmen will be able to see the dangers before them. When you feel a sense of anxious toil, remember I am here with you doing the work and leading you, then you can rest and sleep. Also remember that your children, your families are a blessing. Find a balance between your work and your family. The relationships you build and sacrifice for are the very ones that will hold you up in times of trouble. Psalm 127:1-5 Paraphrased
Invite Me into your organizations. Invite My angels into your buildings and technology. Invite us to participate and give us permission to do our work in service of the Kingdom of God, through you. It is the greatest adventure you will ever experience. It will satisfy you more than anything else. Come seek Me while I may be found. Call on Me, I am near. (Isaiah 55:6 paraphrase)
Hope Darst’s song “If the Lord Builds the House” is a great reminder! Fill your heart and mind with the lyrics day after day and keep your eyes on Me.
