iMethod Process

Creating space for God to communicate with us is essential as we lead our organizations! The iMethod process is designed to create this space as we “call out to Him” for direction like He tells us in Jeremiah 33:3:

“Call to Me and I will tell you great and mighty things that you do not know.” ESV

The iMethod Process

• Invite God into the conversation
• Clarify the work we will be doing and its overall value
• Throughout the meeting pause to invite God’s direct guidance by asking a question and listening for His answer when:
  • The path forward becomes unclear
  • There are conflicting opinions
  • God “nudges” one of us, letting us know He would like to share
  • We have a question for Him
• Thank Him, bless the work we did, the work to come, and invite Him to help.

History:

The iMethod started with God showing me how to “bottom line” the decision-making process, making it more effective due to His guidance. The i in iMethod stands for “intermittent intercessory intervention”, which simply means we sprinkle listening for God’s guidance into the work.
